Chef Holger Deh’s White Chocolate Heaven

I’m just about to post my two favourite things for this week. The first is Chef Holger’s, of the Mandarin Oriental, White Chocolate Pistachio Brittle that comes in a Bon Ton Tin. Nuts are roasted and then caramelized with sugar (the trick to keeping the nut crisp), cooled and then combined with a specific ratio of Belgium chocolate to nuts, composing a beatific confection that dissipates slowly leaving you with the smile of a sugarplum fairy. The Brittle comes in three flavours, White Chocolate Pistachio, Dark Chocolate Hazelnut and Milk Chocolate Almonds. You can obtain 200g of this heavenly sweet for RM48 plus tax. Stay tuned for my other favourite find of the week. 🙂
