culinary caper through ten of Kuala Lumpur’s most distinctive restaurants,
pairing the delicious notes of Pinot Noir wine with duck dishes created by some

Well known for its Sauvignon Blanc, Cloudy Bay introduces a
wine set to soon become a new favourite to the KL market. Their 2011 Pinot Noir
has a gentle floral bouquet with whiffs of wildflower sending your imagination
to thyme-covered fields in spring. Berries, herbs and spices on the palate with
hints of forest mushroom make it an ideal pairing for smoked duck, grilled
portabello mushrooms or a rack of venison.

What a curious idea, a wine-and-duck trail. Very interesting creations at each place by the sounds of things! Ribs by Vintry sound great – "Twice cooked lemongrass, blue ginger and turmeric duck with soy marinated roasted aubergine"
