Few combinations of words invite such an excited reaction as ‘Food’ and ‘Festival’. The announcement of exciting collaborations, opportunities to sample new creations and a sense that some flavours previously undiscovered will be offered on a plate get the senses ready for culinary adventure. Combine those words with a location as food-obsessed as Singapore, and the anticipation increases dramatically.

Passport to Feast 2022

Launched with the help of Singapore’s first local gin brand, Tanglin Gin, the Singapore Food Festival was kicked off in style at Bar Trigona on Thursday, August 11th. Guests were welcomed with curated drinks such as ‘Ah Ma’ — featuring Singapore Gin, taking inspiration from traditional Chinese desserts prepared by granny when you have fallen ill, the Ah Ma has flavours of white fungus and chrysanthemum soup, and ‘Harimau’ — featuring black powder gin, a take on the negroni for those who aren’t used to bitter cocktails.
