Long before Dorothy’s arrival in Oz, two young women with contrasting destinies cross paths. One, born with emerald-green skin, is misunderstood yet talented, while the other is a bubbly and ambitious blonde. As their story unfolds, they become rivals and, ultimately, friends, navigating a world quick to label one as “good” and the other as “wicked.”

Based on Gregory Maguire’s novel, WICKED features music and lyrics by Stephen Schwartz. The production boasts musical staging by Wayne Cilento and original direction by Joe Mantello.
