Recipe for a Long Journey Cocktail

One of The Collection Cocktails crafted by our resident mixologist at Colony, the “Long Journey” is the perfect accompaniment for a voyage from Britain to the East Indies.

This rift on the Whiskey Sour perfectly blends Great King Street Scottish Whiskey and Irish Guinness reduction with English honey and fresh lemon juice, topped with delicious notes of grated nutmeg. 

Ingredients

  • 45ml Great King Street Whiskey

  • 45ml Guinness Reduction

  • 30ml Egg White

  • 20ml Lemon Juice

  • 10ml Honey

  • 5ml Ginger Syrup

    Directions

  1. Add all ingredients and ice into a shaker and reverse dry shake.

  2. Strain the mixture into another shaker and reverse dry shake without ice.

  3. Pour the cocktail mixture and add a cube of ice into an old-fashioned glass.

  4. Garnish with grated nutmeg before serving.
