What do you do and how did you get into the industry?
I’m the General Manager of the InterContinental Samui Baan Taling Ngam Resort. I fell in love with the idea of living in a beautiful hotel and moving around the world so I chose Hotel Administration for my study at University and I have been doing this since 1998.
Share with us an interesting story from behind the scenes.
Last year, we had a wedding couple come to us asking if we can do a wedding party for the next day. Unfortunately, the resort that they were supposed to have a wedding canceled the event on them the day before. We had literally 20 hours to prepare for a 50-guest wedding ceremony and party – in the end we were able to arrange everything in the way the couple wanted.
What’s the best/ worst part of your job?
Best – to see young and passionate colleagues grow in their career
Worst – when I see a disappointing face from a guest

I only wish I can share how much fun we have behind the scenes… even in the most pressured moments, the team always pull it off with joyful spirit and laughter.
