Latélle Nail Spa KLCC
Monica Tindall
You may have noticed that I’ve been on the road for the past two months. It’s been a whirlwind of a ride, and I’m grateful for every moment, but there wasn’t much time for self-care in between flights, transfers, hotels, restaurants, winery visits and experiencing the sights. I’ve returned to Kuala Lumpur a little rough around the edges and am ready to polish up my appearance. I was delighted to discover one of my favourite facial bars, Latélle, has opened a new nail spa, and it’s just a block from my condo.
If you live in the KLCC area, you’re likely to know Ra.Ft in Jalan Binjai, a lovely good-vibe café run by friendly Italians with great coffee and an approachable menu. Well, Latélle Nail Spa is in the same building – Binjai 8 Premium Soho (the street behind Troika Sky Dining). Register at the guard counter to access the lifts, ride to the 27th floor, then follow the signs to unit 6.
The team at Latélle Nail Spa focus on creating healthy nails and cuticles. They use premium products and hospital-grade sterilisation for metal tools in the autoclave. All other tools, such as files, are disposable; customers can take them home. Their tagline is “Latélle is responsible, different and exciting.” With owner Hanna Peleshok from Ukraine, they focus on Ukrainian-style manicures with very clean cuticles – they even have some machines I haven’t seen before to assist!

The salon is divided into several rooms: a reception lounge, pedicure and manicure rooms, and a private bathroom. Large comfortable armchairs in the mani-pedi space are given a little intimacy with light curtain dividers. One chair is right next to the window, a delight for thrill-seekers or best avoided for those with even the slightest twinge of acrophobia.
Tea or coffee is served with a mini bowl of chocolates as you are seated. There’s WiFi and a huge screen if you want to catch up on the latest Netflix series – small details add up to a comfortable experience.
Latélle Nail Spa Menu
The menu has all you’d expect from a nail spa, including various levels of manicures and pedicures from your basic to luxurious with spa-like treatment of your hands and feet to gel polish with artwork.
Hands Facial
With all the usual suspects on the menu, the Hands Facial (RM 200) offers something new and exciting. Designed for dry and sagging skin, pigmentation and psoriasis, the treatment goes beyond the standard trim, file, cleanse and moisturise to include exfoliation, a choice of five different masks – each designed for various goals such as lightening pigmentation or treating dry skin -, LED phototherapy, moisturiser and a hand massage. Alongside the manual work, a vibrating tool assisted in tidying up the edges and smoothing over my nails. In the hope of regaining some health in my hands, I forewent the polish and opted for a buff instead. My nails have never looked so shiny and healthy!
Foot Spa
While my hands were being pampered, so too were my feet with a Foot Spa (RM 150). Using premium Switual products, the session smoothed and moisturised the stubborn, dry, hard skin around my feet. Switual products contain blue button flower that assists in callus breakdown and angelica skin hydration. The scent is pleasant, natural and refreshing. My toenails and cuticles were treated to a similar workout as my fingers – a thorough exfoliation and buffing, and they, too, end much healthier and presentable.
Thanks to the Latélle Nail Spa team for caring for me and helping my hands and feet look healthy again.
