For a complete experience, The Clubhouse at Wedge Range Golf Bar & Social Club provides a decently-sized menu of food and drinks to satiate hunger and quench a well-earned thirst. Unlike the original centre in Sri Hartamas, where Wedge collaborates with surrounding food and beverage suppliers, in this location, they have their own kitchen and bar.
A cheerful blend of deep green and orange pops with patterned cushions, potted plants, and a touch of neon lighting. It’s fun and vibrant yet tastefully curated. Upbeat pop tunes add to the trendy atmosphere, and from the dining area, you can view the putting green, beer pong tables and darts boards.
The Clubhouse Menu
Head Chef Zie has hand-picked a selection of dishes guaranteed to delight diverse palates. While the menu doesn’t adhere to a single cuisine, one unifying theme binds them all: quality. Every dish is made in-house from scratch, utilising the finest ingredients, and meticulously balanced in flavour.
The Clubhouse has many choices, from light bites to sharing plates to complete meals.
Appetisers
The Goi Cuon (RM 18) features prawns, glass noodles and vegetables wrapped in rice paper. They’re awesome with the housemade Prik Nam Pla Dip that has a lovely pinch of heat.
Tapas
Tapas are faultless bites for sharing with friends over drinks or nibbling between swings. The Bao Birdie Bites (RM 22) are tasty for sure, with tender boneless chicken infused with aromatic spices and curry leaves between soft, steamed bao buns. However, it’s the meat-free tapas that disappear the quickest. The Eggplant Eagle Rolls (RM 16) are centred with creamy feta cheese, fragrant herbs, and a drizzle of olive oil. The Stuffed Mushrooms (RM 18) is a platter of button mushrooms brimming with a herbed mozzarella and garlic filling. These are so good that Johan even reports they made it to his dreams after our visit.
Pizza
Pizza is also an easy-sharing option for groups, and the Grilled Chicken & Caramelised Onion Pizza (RM 35) is an excellent order. Bolognese sauce and mozzarella moisten the top, but the tender, marinated chicken thighs and caramelised onions are the magic ingredients. It’s not traditional, but it’s absolutely delicious!
Main Course
The Clubhouse has several tempting options if you’d prefer a sit-down meal, pre or post-golf simulator fun (or even if you’ve played no golf at all). Johan gives the Crispy Chicken Sand-Wedge (RM 38) two thumbs up. The buttery brioche bun is ideal for the deep-fried chicken thigh (so moist and tender) and housemade honey mustard sauce. The side of steak fries is good, too!
Alternatively, featuring the same succulent marinated chicken, the Creamy Coconut Tuscan Chicken (RM 38) offers a complete meal. This time, the thigh is covered in a delicious coconut milk and parmesan sauce. Baby spinach, cherry tomatoes and broccoli round up the nutrition log and add vibrant colour to the plate.
Dessert
The creatively named Wedge Tee-ramisu (RM 22) offers a playful twist on the tradition. Instead of the usual powdered chocolate topping, it features a layer of matcha, resembling a golf green, complete with a mini Wedge flag. Its base is classic layers of ladyfingers soaked in espresso and Marsala wine, generously topped with whipped mascarpone and a hint of Kahlua, promise. Good stuff!
Wedge Range Drinks Menu
While Wedge offers a handful of cocktails, they all look a little too sweet for my palate. However, a variety of spirits, wines, and beers are available to satisfy different tastes. Options include the Blue Lagoonarita (RM 35), which boasts a pretty blue hue and a margarita glass with a half-salted rim, offering a less sweet option. For those preferring classics, the Tanqueray Gin & Tonic (RM 23), served with cucumber slices in a rocks glass, is a timeless choice. Le Poteau offers white, red, and rose wines by the glass (RM 23), all easy-drinking and approachable. Additionally, there’s the Cold Chocolate (RM 11), served over ice, a fun mix of dark chocolate and poured over fresh milk for a non-boozy alternative.
