Looking for ideas for the perfect gift this February? The Yum List gives you some suggestions…
Some might say flowers and chocolates are overrated, but not if the sweet treats come from the Chocolate Concierge. Chief chocolatier Ning, although producing in Malaysia for less than six months, has already gained a reputation as the “king of chocolate” for his delicious and masterful creations. You’ll find familiar flavours coated with premium chocolate, but too some adventurous pairings bound to steal the heart of your Valentine.
What we put on our body is as important as what we put in it, so why skimp on skincare and beauty? Show your love by giving a gift that’s good for the body as well as the earth with World Organics line of skincare products. Certified organic by BioGro, World Organics is the first certified organic and vegan skincare line available in Malaysia! Available products include the anti-ageing brand, River Veda, as well as the Organic Skin Co., which includes a full line of makeup, shower gels, hand creams, aromatherapy and more.
We love the look and feel of these luxurious products; even the packaging is eco friendly made with recycled paper and biodegradable ink. Container tops are wooden, and most containers are aluminium or glass, minimizing the use of plastic.
Check out their website for their full range available in Malaysia.
One of our favourite restaurants in Kuala Lumpur, Skillet at 163, has a wonderfully creative line-up of dishes set to wow your Valentine. From an addiction-inducing assam laksa lobster bisque to a tantalising chocolate sphere served in a cloud of liquid nitrogen, the flames of romance are sure to ignited in one way or another here.
Energy Day Spa is offering some excellent packages for the entire month of February. Body scrubs, massages, facials and steam baths are combined in two and three hour packages making an ideal pampering gift to partake in with your loved one, or split with a friend. Find the deals here.
Less than 30 minutes from the airport, The Pavilions Phuket offers an adults-only retreat where every detail has been carefully crafted to engineer love. Every villa comes with a private pool, outdoor area, large living room, separate bedroom and bathroom (including a tub big enough for two)… and… the spa and pool pavilions even have their very own spa suite! It’s one of the most romantic getaways we’ve been on… ever.
What are your ideas for the perfect Valentine’s gift?
Beautiful sunset, such vibrant colours..
Phuket sure has some stunners.
Strange no comments on the chef???
I was sure I put a comment – then maybe I forgot to hit the
publish button? Anyhow the chef certainly seems to have his feet
planted on Terra Firma.
Still thankfully cool here – very weird weather indeed, but I am not complaining.

Chef has to be on pretty solid ground to maintain his position at that hotel – one of the busiest in the city.
Great V’s gifts ideas…I adore this sunset photo…such vibrant colours 😉 Have a lovely week ahead 🙂
I’d love all of these gifts – no need for Valentine’s day 😉
Where can I buy this lovely sunset for my sweetheart? 😉
Thankfully, sunsets are still free… I imagine one day however they’ll find a way to sell them 😉
I would keep it with the dinner.
Greetings,
Filip
