Neauvia Fillers Malaysia – Dr Bob Clinic
Monica Tindall
The fountain of youth may be mythical, but modern aesthetic advancements offer a pretty close alternative. Dermal fillers have become a popular tool for combating the signs of aging, restoring volume, and achieving a more youthful appearance. Neauvia, a company at the forefront of innovation, has taken things a step further with its Neauvia Fillers—a new generation of fillers designed for natural-looking results focusing on purity.
Neauvia Fillers: A New Era in Aesthetics
Founded on the belief that beauty should be achievable with minimal intervention, Neauvia has carved a niche in the market with its commitment to safety and high-quality products. Their core technology, Smart Crosslinking Technology (SXT), creates a unique filler structure that boasts optimal results and a favourable safety profile.
New vs. Old: A Shift Towards Natural Beauty
Traditional dermal fillers primarily relied on hyaluronic acid (HA), a naturally occurring sugar molecule that plumps the skin. However, these fillers often contained additional ingredients like lidocaine (anesthetic) and preservatives, which, while serving a purpose, could potentially lead to allergic reactions or unwanted side effects.
Neauvia Fillers represent a shift towards a more natural approach, with three main benefits:
- Purity: Neauvia fillers boast the purest form of hyaluronic acid currently available, derived from Bacillus Subtilis, a friendly bacteria. This minimises the risk of allergic reactions.
- Biocompatibility: The unique SCT technology creates a filler that closely mimics the body’s natural tissues, promoting better integration and reducing the risk of rejection.
- Long-lasting Results: While results vary individually, Neauvia Fillers offer extended correction times compared to some traditional fillers.
Stimulate and Hydro Deluxe Malaysia
Neauvia offers a variety of organic fillers catering to different needs. At Dr Bob Clinic, I try Neauvia Stimulate and Neauvia Hydro Deluxe.
Neauvia Stimulate combines hyaluronic acid with calcium hydroxyapatite (CaHA), a collagen-stimulating material. Stimulate is ideal for deeper lines and wrinkles, providing both volume restoration and collagen stimulation for a long-lasting effect. It’s particularly suited for areas like the nasolabial folds (smile lines) and marionette lines (lines around the mouth).
Neauvia Hydro Deluxe is a non-crosslinked HA filler designed for deep hydration and improving skin elasticity. It’s perfect for addressing concerns like dehydrated or thinning skin, particularly on the cheeks and hands.
The Filler Experience: What to Expect
A consultation with a qualified healthcare professional such as Dr Bob is crucial before getting any filler procedure. They will assess your needs, discuss your desired outcome, and determine if Neauvia Fillers are right for you.
The process took about 90 minutes for me at Dr Bob Clinic. This included a consultation to discuss goals and expectations, photographs, cleansing of the face and applying numbing cream (which is left on for about 30 minutes to take full effect), and lastly, the filler injection into targeted areas using a fine needle.
Pain & Discomfort
The injection process can cause some discomfort, but the numbing cream and distraction provided by Dr Bob’s lovely nurse with a vibrating tool and ice packs help minimise this.
Post-Procedure Care
For optimal results and to minimise side effects, Dr Bob recommends avoiding strenuous activity and extreme temperatures for a few days. Minimising sun exposure, using sunscreen daily, avoiding makeup for a couple of days and not massaging the area for about two weeks is also advised.
Recovery Time & Potential Side Effects
Dr Bob reports that most people experience minimal downtime after receiving Neauvia Fillers. Potential side effects include redness, inflammation, bruising and tenderness. If you have sensitive skin like me and are prone to bruising, schedule the treatment when you don’t have any important events. I had noticeable bruising and swelling, especially around the eye area, that lasted about 10 days before I was happy to be seen in public. Fortunately, face masks are not out of the norm these days, so showing my full face was easily avoided.
Neauvia Fillers Results
Three weeks post-treatment, I can see noticeable results. The Neauvia has reduced the appearance of fine lines, and I also see a significant reduction in redness. Several people have commented on my skin’s radiant and healthy appearance (without me revealing I’ve recently had fillers). I see the best results around my crow’s feet and smile lines around my mouth. In general, my skin looks brighter with a moisturized glow. I’m not 100% convinced that filler under the eyes was right for me, though. Although there is a definite improvement in colour and texture, I feel that my skin is so thin in that area that you can see a line between where the filler is and where it isn’t. The good news is that if you don’t like the effect, it is easily dissolved with another injection.
Below is a 3-D image taken with Dr Bob’s high-tech camera. This camera allows him to examine the full face as if in 3-D to compare pre-and post-treatment. The still image looks a little distorted but you can still get a good look at the skin before and after Neauvia fillers.
Weighing the Options: Dangers & Benefits
As with any medical procedure, there are potential risks associated with dermal fillers. Consulting a qualified professional and choosing a reputable brand like Neauvia helps mitigate these risks. Neauvia Fillers are a little more viscous than the past generation of products, so they require more skill to inject. It’s crucial to find a doctor with plenty of experience not only with fillers in general but in particular with this new type of filler.
Potential health dangers include infection, allergic reactions and skin necrosis (very rare). At the same time, possible aesthetic hazards are asymmetry or a lumpy appearance if not skillfully placed. However, by choosing a quality product and only injecting it with a pro, patients can look forward to natural-looking results, increased skin hydration and elasticity, reduced lines, and a more youthful appearance.
Neauvia Fillers Price Malaysia
You can expect to pay between RM 1900 and RM 2200 for Neauvia Fillers at Dr Bob Clinic, depending on the amount and areas that need injecting.
Neauvia Fillers Malaysia Review
Neauvia Fillers offer a compelling option for those seeking a natural-looking and safer way to combat the signs of aging. With a focus on purity and biocompatibility, they cater to individuals who desire subtle rejuvenation without compromising safety.
