One of the things that has helped me get through various stay-at-home restrictions is letting friends know I’m thinking of them by sending gifts. Honing in on local suppliers, I think I’m helping, at least a little, our Malaysian friends sustain jobs and business. Some good ideas to help stay connected! We’ve done the same on a more homemade scale where we send friends and family mason jars that are filled with ingredients to make a five bean soup, or oatmeal/chocolate chip cookies.
Yes, it makes a difference to give and receive a little treat. Homemade things are the best.
